What does green and gold mean on a cycling jersey?
Green and gold were formally adopted as Australia's national colours on 19 April 1984, and the gold is linked to the golden wattle, our national flower. On a jersey they read as Australian from a long way down the road.
Our best seller in those colours is the Men's Australia Green & Gold Kangaroo Short Sleeve Cycling Jersey. A yellow panel curves from the shoulder across the chest, AUSTRALIA runs across the front, and yellow Southern Cross stars sit low on the jersey. Which Australian jerseys carry the flag?
The Australian National Flag has the Union Jack in the corner, the large seven-pointed Commonwealth Star beneath it, and the five stars of the Southern Cross on the other half. Our Men's Australia Flag Southern Cross jersey lays all three out on a royal blue jersey with red and white cuffs, so nobody will ask where you are from.

What should you wear with it in an Australian summer?
Short sleeves and knicks will do for most rides from now until autumn. Start early on the hot days, put sunscreen on before you leave and carry more water than you think you need. Mesh side panels, like the ones on our green and gold jersey, help with ventilation once you are moving.
A long sleeve flag jersey is not only for winter. Our sizes run small, so check the size chart on this page before you choose. The chart works from your body, so have your chest, waist and hip measurements to hand. Our jerseys have a club fit cut, and if you land between two sizes, size up.
